CHEP, a global expert in pallet pooling and supply chain solutions, has appointed Philipp Schlömer as Commercial Director of CHEP Germany. In his new position, he has been driving forward business development in Germany since January 2024.
The aim is to generate further growth in the country by maintaining a consistently high level of customer focus and service quality and expanding customer service. Philipp Schlömer succeeds Boris Lohmüller, who has been appointed Country General Manager, CHEP Benelux.
Philipp Schlömer can look back on a long career at CHEP. Since joining the company in 2014, he has held various supply chain and commercial roles, including Country Lead, Switzerland. Before taking up his new role as Commercial Director, he was Senior Manager, Supply Chain, Central Europe, where he significantly reshaped the division through more efficient processes. Schlömer holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Logistics Management from the European University of Applied Sciences in Brühl. He also studied Business Administration and Management at California State University, Fullerton.
