PLA is one of the bioplastics with the greatest market significance. This versatile bioplastic is made almost entirely from renewable raw materials and is biodegradable / compostable in certain environments. It is used for packaging applications, for fibres in textiles and nonwovens.

Experts from all participating fields will share their knowledge and contribute to a comprehensive overview of today's opportunities and challenges and discuss the possibilities, limitations and future prospects of PLA for all types of applications.

The 2-day conference will take place on 28 and 29 May 2024 in Munich as a hybrid conference with the option of online participation.
