KLK Emmerich GmbH has commissioned a new end-of-line packaging line for the packaging of bagged goods. The turnkey solution from MSK consists of a robot palletiser, a bonnet stretcher for load securing and a pallet conveyor system.

The enquiry for a flexible and efficient system for packaging palletised bagged goods from the chemical manufacturer from Emmerich am Rhein resulted in a convincing overall solution that went far beyond the scope originally envisaged.

„The previous KLK packaging system was over 40 years old and also from the manufacturer MSK. The catalogue of requirements for a new packaging solution included the maximum throughput of the system, a stable pallet pattern and packing pattern. We also decided in favour of a stretch hooder. The palletising robot should be able to insert a cardboard box between the wooden pallets and the bags, which avoids bag defects. In addition, each pack is inspected for foreign objects using a metal scan. Together, we configured the entire system so that customer complaints are avoided and the system can follow KLK Emmerich GmbH's future path into the food/feed/pharma sectors.“
