R.Weiss Packaging presents innovative and highly flexible Unirob top-loading packaging machines for all types of products from the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, chemical, confectionery and bakery sectors, as well as for food and non-food. Thanks to a modular design, combined with intelligent control technology and lean mechanics, the company develops packaging systems that can be used for even the most complex challenges.
An innovative sub-mixing system with modernised Unirob technology will be on show at Fachpack. This has been completely revised both in terms of design and with regard to even more energy-efficient and intelligent control technology. The new protected info panel and the status light bar are considered a highlight, as they make it much easier to monitor machine operation and rectify faults. The continuous light bar over the entire line continuously shows the status of each cell by means of colour visualisation. With the toploading system, different varieties or flavours of a product can be individually configured according to a predefined or customisable customer-specific mixing ratio and grouped in point-of-sale cartons using robots in the toploading process. The turnkey packaging system ensures maximum efficiency in logistical processes, as the transport and sales packaging retains its perfect condition thanks to careful handling in the packaging process and can be reused for the point of sale.
The products are fed into the Unirob system on several infeed belts, sorted by type, and R.WeissThe products are grouped into corresponding format-based sortations by delta robots. A six-axis robot then inserts the product formats into the original cartons.
