The modular, ceiling-mounted overhead conveyor system from Torwegge (THB) provides companies with a space-saving and flexible solution for in-house material transport.

The overhead monorail system can move loads of up to 300 kilograms per metre and is particularly suitable for transporting, buffering and sorting a wide variety of goods over long distances. A highlight of the stand is the live showcase, which illustrates the movement sequence of the THB in detail. Visitors can see up close how pallets and containers are transported within the conveyor system.

The process includes the automatic loading and unloading of pallets, transport in the loop and the return of empty containers. The ceiling installation leaves the floor area free and can be used for other activities. The modular design also enables effortless Expansion or adaptation of the system if the material flow changes. As the interaction between the conveyed goods and the people on the ground is minimised, the risk of accidents is also reduced.

Thanks to its versatility, the system is suitable for transporting a wide variety of goods such as clothing, car parts or electronics. The overhead conveyor is suitable for both for manual push-pull sections as well as for automated feed and discharge processes of goods over long distances. The conveying length per motor is up to 30 metres, depending on the transport weight, whereby the system has a Total conveying length of 100 to 200 metres can achieve. The speed varies depending on the weight and is between five and 40 metres per minute. It also enables both horizontal and vertical curves and has an integrated RFID chip for precise tracking. It can also be used as a floor conveyor.
