At LogiMAT, automation company Pilz will be presenting safety and industrial security solutions for safe automation and the safe operation of mobile platforms. The focus in Stuttgart will be on safeguarding conveyor belts.

The focus here is on Safe material transport and efficient material transfer at the interface between conveyor belt and mobile platform.

Pilz provides complete solutions for conveyor belt guarding with different optical sensors such as the PSENopt safety light grids with muting. They ensure a smooth process. The PSENscan safety laser scanner, which can be mounted vertically, is also available. This allows applications for conveyor belts to be set up more flexibly. In combination with the safe small controller PNOZmulti 2, the protective fields individually switchable for each pallet.

In cooperation with NAiSE, the company will also be demonstrating how comprehensive, safe fleet management can be realised in combination with Pilz components. They will be demonstrating at the joint stand, How the Pilz radar system supports fleet management. This transmits data directly to the NAiSE intralogistics software. In conjunction with the software, the radar system supports dynamic traffic and process management for all road users.

Display

The appropriate service package for the secure use of mobile platforms complements the trade fair presentation. It includes the development of safety concepts in the design phase through to acceptance and commissioning. The standard-compliant use thus ensures the trouble-free and safe operation of mobile platforms.
