At this year's LogiMAT, Dematic will be focussing on its software and its central function for system control.

The supplier of intelligent automation technology invites visitors to an interactive journey of discovery through a warehouse to the event. They can expect live demonstrations, practice-orientated training and the opportunity to meet technology partners in person.

„It is often emphasised in the industry that resilient and flexible processes are critical to sustainable supply chain practices. We are convinced that Dematic is in an excellent position to combine the best solutions in the industry into a customised overall solution. In this way, we offer our customers the resilience and flexibility they need to secure their long-term competitiveness.“

Whether through close collaboration with other Kion Group brands, strategic partnerships with companies such as AutoStore or the recently announced cooperation between Kion and Nvidia, visitors to the 284 square metre Dematic stand will have the opportunity to experience the benefits of the seamless integration of automation, software, industrial trucks and other advanced technologies in a customised solution.

One particular highlight, for example, is the autonomous shuttle for high-density pallet storage solutions, which emerged from Dematic's partnership with EuroFork. „Our approach is based on looking at the market from a solution-orientated perspective rather than strictly differentiating between sectors,“ explains Sickler.

Maintenance solution for the bearing

At LogiMAT, the intralogistics specialist will also be offering the opportunity to take part in live product training sessions, such as technician training at the Dematic Service Academy or an interactive drone simulation to go through. The participants can use flight simulators to identify the ten most important maintenance problems in a warehouse. „Our success is not only based on the technologies we offer, but above all on our employees. Our in-house developed drone solution, which we presented for the first time at LogiMAT a few years ago, continues to establish itself as the leading maintenance solution,“ emphasises Sickler.

Visitors can experience the Dematic software and its central function as the „brain“ of the system control up close in several showcases. One example is the Dematic bin-to-picker solution, in which autonomous mobile robots (AMR) work together seamlessly, while a newly integrated robot arm takes over order picking. This is an impressive demonstration of how Dematic software efficiently coordinates the entire process. Another highlight on display is the Dematic Condition Monitoring System, which monitors the condition of machines and systems in real time in order to recognise potential problems at an early stage and prevent breakdowns. In this case too, the intelligent Dematic software is the driver for precise analyses and predictive maintenance planning.

In addition to the solution demonstrations, visitors can also look forward to the Dematic Innovation Stage. There, experts from the company will provide exciting Insights into the future of logistics, the role of AI in warehouse processes and innovative approaches for sustainable solutions.
