Acti Pack has now invested in a new hot-fill technology that improves the heat resistance of PET packaging during the filling process.

The new PET bottles and PET jars are particularly suitable for products such as jam or tomato sauce that need to be filled hot. The heat resistance is achieved through the use of a special Hot fill PET raw material achieved. Through the use of a improved oxygen barrier The aim is also to increase the shelf life of the products.

The new Hot Fill range includes the PET bottle Volcano with a volume of 500 ml. It can be used up to a temperature of maximum 90°C can be used for hot filling. The new PET bottle has been equipped with the standard 38 mm neck finish so that a wide range of standard closures can be used.
