With the centralised adhesive supply Xfeed all connected hot melt units are to melt-on-demand systems. From a central storage location, the closed system automatically supplies up to 20 melting units with adhesive granulate as required, regardless of the manufacturer, bridging distances of up to 200 metres at high delivery rates. The technical data provided by the energy-efficient technology allows in the sense of Industry 4.0 optimisation of adhesive consumption, as they can be used for process analyses. Xfeed also increases ease of use and work safety for machine operators.

Dot-box Kit live at Fachpack
With the Dot-box kit Baumer hhs will be presenting a turnkey system comprising two hot melt valves, a control unit and all brackets and necessary cables. The company will be demonstrating live how packaging manufacturers convert their adhesive application to the technology in a few simple steps and then produce all packaging with dot application.
