Graphic step-by-step instructions

Aldi faced a particular challenge with packaging made of different materials, which is often disposed of incorrectly. Therefore Self-explanatory graphics These explain step by step how to correctly separate and dispose of the individual components of packaging.

This can be illustrated using the example of an organic yoghurt pot: The cup is made of plastic, the lid is made of aluminium and the sleeve is made of paper. If the three components are not separated from each other, they cannot be properly recycled afterwards. This is why the packaging instructions say so: The lid should always be separated from the cup and disposed of in the yellow bin. The sleeve belongs in the paper bin.
