Discount supermarket operator Aldi wants to reduce the amount of packaging material used for its own brands by 30 per cent by 2025. All own-brand packaging is to be recyclable by 2022. This is the aim of a project called „Packaging Mission“, which Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd have launched together.
