All4Labels and Actega present "The Flow" campaign

With the campaign "The Flow", All4Labels and Actega present the on-demand metallisation Starshine.

The All4Labels Global Packaging Group presents „The Flow“ campaign together with Actega. The focus is on the on-demand metallisation Starshine, which uses Ecoleaf technology to achieve a distinctive metallic effect.

According to the company Metallic effects for self-adhesive labels and reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 80 per cent compared to conventional metallic films.

Starshine was developed together with Actega. All4Labels is planning to Cooperation to be extended to further locations in 2025; Additional Ecoleaf installations are planned in Bucharest (Romania) and Blois (France). The existing Starshine network includes Nocera (Italy), Witzhave (Germany) and Leeds (UK).

All4Labels uses different processes to realise the effects: Flexographic printing for multicoloured metallic effects - especially for home & personal care applications and with sustainability advantages over cold foil - and Screen printing (Leeds site) for a distinctive gold metallic effect, which is comparable to hot foil stamping and is used for high-quality finishes in the wine and spirits segment.

The campaign shows real product samples from Wine & Spirits and Home & Personal Care, produced with Ecoleaf and hybrid inkjet technologies. As background, the company cites a Increasing demand for sustainable packagingAccording to studies, 39-43 % of end users would be willing to pay more or change their preferred brand in favour of more environmentally friendly packaging and 90 % of consumers are more likely to buy from brands with sustainable packaging.

The campaign „The Flow“ starts at the same time as LabelExpo Europe in Barcelona from 16 to 19 September 2025.
