Vacuum bags from ALLFO keep food fresh

At interpack, the Allgäu-based family company ALLFO will be exhibiting vacuum bags made from renewable raw materials in addition to its classic vacuum bags made from PA/PE composite film.

As a specialist in the production and distribution of vacuum bags made from high-quality barrier films, ALLFO is an integral part of the butcher's trade, cheese dairies, dairies and fish processing companies. ALLFO will be presenting the products that make up the international conquest of the Allgäu-based family business at interpack in Düsseldorf.

Remarkable success curve

The addressees are retailers with products for the food industry, catering and kitchen supplies. „The export share of ALLFO is therefore growing continuously and now accounts for around 60 per cent of bag production,“ says Hans Bresele, Managing Director of ALLFO.

High availability and fast delivery

In addition to the high quality of its products, the Companies from the Allgäu with the high availability and fast delivery of its bags, which share around 3,500 pallet spaces in the company's own warehouse. A good 200 variants, which differ in size, shape and material thickness, are available for immediate delivery in large quantities worldwide. Many models are available with practical opening aids. In addition to the classic zip ALLFO scores points with the HookVak, a Innovative, food-safe hook and loop fastener, which is integrated into the bag. Here, the seal seam is located above the reclosure and allows goods to be removed in whole or in part. The Velcro fastener is then simply pressed closed again. In addition to the classic vacuum bags made of PA/PE composite film, trade fair visitors will also be able to see the important topic of sustainability attention.

„For us, sustainability is not a reaction, but an action, because preserving food is very important to us,“ says Bresele, explaining the reasons for the commitment. In Germany alone, around 11 million tonnes of food are still thrown away every year. Vacuum bags with their outstanding protective functions make an important contribution to minimising food spoilage.

Bags made from renewable raw materials

Vacuum bags made from renewable raw materials also play an important role at interpack. After all 67 per cent of the material mix exist with the models from ALLFO from sugar cane and rapeseed instead of crude oil. The company wants to offer its customers a packaging solution that enables them to pick up the unsettled consumer and at the same time protect food and conserve resources with a high-quality vacuum bag.
