Design meets tradition: Almdudler is launching a limited „Oktoberfest Edition“ for Wiesn 2025 - with eye-catching packaging design by star designer Marina Hoermanseder.
Just in time for the start of the fifth season, Almdudler is bringing a breath of fresh air to the catering trade: the cult brand from Austria is launching an exclusive Oktoberfest edition together with the internationally renowned designer Marina Hoermanseder. The focus is on the 0.35-litre returnable glass bottle in a colourful traditional look - complemented by a likewise newly designed clay mug. The edition will celebrate its premiere on 21 September 2025 at the traditional „Almauftrieb“ in the Käfer tent at the Munich Oktoberfest.
Buckles, traditional costume and pop culture
For the packaging design, Hoermanseder reinterpreted the well-known Almdudler traditional costume couple - with iconic buckle elements and playful details, inspired by lederhosen and dirndls.
„I wanted to modernise the Almdudler costume with a wink. My buckle elements fit perfectly with the brand and the occasion. The result is a playful and modern as well as Strong collection that combines tradition and pop culture„, explains Marina Hoermanseder, known for her extravagant designs worn by stars such as Lady Gaga and Rihanna.
Exclusively for the Oktoberfest - limited edition for the catering trade
The strictly limited edition will be available exclusively during the Wiesn (20 September to 5 October 2025). in selected Munich catering establishments including the Käfer Wiesn-Schänke, the Käfer Stammhaus, the Käfer Delis, the Madl-Wiesn in the Schützen-Festzelt and other traditional establishments such as the Hofbräukeller, the Haxnbauer and the beer garden at the Chinese Tower.
