Antalis Verpackungen was delighted to receive an award for its alternative to plastic stretch film. Paper Stretch Master'in Performance is made from paper fibres, is recyclable and won the Pap'Award in the „Best Packaging Innovation“ category.

This innovative product, which consists of 100% paper fibres with no coating, is fully recyclable and can be disposed of with the paper waste. This is a key advantage as there is no dedicated recycling stream for linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) stretch film, which makes high-quality recycling difficult. In addition, the opacity of Paper Stretch provides additional protection against theft. The lightweight and tear-resistant machine and manual rolls have undergone extensive testing and work with almost every stretch wrapper. Their use is particularly recommended for pallets up to 300 kg and 120 cm, for direct shipping and preferably for in-house storage and intralogistics. The innovative material is Suitable for dry and non-humid rooms.

According to one of Antalis According to a survey conducted in collaboration with the opinion and market research institute IFOP, environmental friendliness is now the second most important criterion when purchasing packaging. Consequently, the company has placed environmental protection at the centre of its strategy and is committed to meeting the needs of its customers in terms of sustainability, including with regard to high expectations for the guarantee of product origin.

„We are delighted to launch Paper Stretch Master'in Performance, an innovative and sustainable packaging solution. With its high quality and 100 per cent recyclability, this innovation can be used as an alternative to plastic stretch films in various applications. It is a priority for Antalis to support our customers in their ecological transition by offering them sustainable and ground-breaking solutions through continuous innovation.“
