
Amcor, international developer and manufacturer of packaging, is launching AmFibre, a new paper-based packaging. According to the company, the AmFibre product family is a response to the changing needs of consumers and expands the range of traditional paper packaging with functional benefits.

This family of differentiated paper-based products builds on Amcor's extensive track record in various materials and applications," explains Ron DeliaCEO of Amcor.
AmFibre packaging for different products
The first AmFibre product to be launched in 2022 will be a Recyclable packaging tailored to snacks and confectionery in Europe which has a high barrier against oxygen and moisture. The company is planning to gradually switch its new paper-based offerings to a Wide range of applications such as coffee, powdered drinks, spices and soups, as well as in the Americas and Asia-Pacific. This complements the range of paper-based products already launched, including solutions for butter and margarine in Latin America and confectionery in Australia.
