The Packaging Design Centre at Antalis Verpackungen GmbH consistently focuses on independence from materials and suppliers. The aim is to develop customised packaging solutions that work even under difficult conditions - from supply bottlenecks to growing sustainability requirements.

The development process begins with a detailed analysis of the entire supply chain. Each packaging order is considered individually - without standardised sample solutions. This results in systems that customised for functionality, safety and economy are. The spectrum ranges from PE foam and honeycomb cardboard to moulded fibre packaging and solid plastic materials.

Each material has its own justification due to its specific mechanical properties. (Image: Antalis Packaging)

A Network of over 4,000 partners worldwide ensures that Antalis remains able to deliver even when supply chains are disrupted. At the same time, the openness of materials allows a differentiated consideration of ecological aspects: Depending on the intended use, a reusable plastic system can be more sustainable than a disposable cardboard solution - and vice versa.

With this strategy, Antalis reacts flexibly to market challenges and develops solutions that both economically and ecologically viable are.
