Consolidation in the European packaging market continues to advance. Antalis has announced the acquisition of Hein Verpackungen. This strategic manoeuvre aims to strengthen Antalis' presence in Europe and expand its portfolio of bespoke packaging solutions.
The acquisition of the company strengthens Antalis' commitment to an expanding presence in the industrial and constructive packaging sector, a key growth driver for the Group. With Hein Verpackungen's design and manufacturing expertise, Antalis is also expanding its service offering in Germany, the largest European packaging market.
As a partner is joining whose primary material is derived from recycled fibres and who boasts a high recycling rate, the acquisition also aligns with Antalis's sustainability strategy and environmental initiatives.
Hein Verpackungen, a company based in Lauterhofen, Germany, was founded in 1928 and specialises in customised corrugated cardboard packaging and POS display solutions. With an annual turnover of around eight million euros in 2025 and 50 employees, Hein Verpackungen supplies customers in the automotive, food, and electronics industries. The acquisition will enable Antalis to benefit from Hein Verpackungen's expertise and established customer relationships.
