Antalis takes over Baltic packaging distribution

Antalis has signed a binding offer to acquire the Baltic packaging distributor Pakella, which specialises in the distribution of industrial and food packaging for various business customers in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

Antalis has signed a binding offer to acquire the Baltic packaging distributor Pakella, which specialises in the distribution of industrial and food packaging for various business customers.

In Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia Pakella is one of the leading packaging distributors with a turnover of 15 million euros in 2023, 60 employees and three sales locations.

Following the acquisition of the Portuguese company 100 Metros at the beginning of 2024, Pakella will expand the Antalis on the market for industrial and food packaging in the Baltic countries and further intensify the established packaging expert's presence on the global packaging distribution market.

Founded in 1996, the Pakella Group is a leading supplier of industrial and food packaging and has built up unique and specific expertise in various sectors over more than 20 years, especially in the food industry, developed.

The signed offer is subject to customary conditions precedent, including approval by the Latvian Competition Authority.
