SIG supplies the German dairy co-operative Hochwald with fifteen aseptic filling machines for the new dairy site in Mechernich.
As part of the megaproject, Hochwald will be a new plant with a capacity of more than 800 million litres of milk per year. The milk processed there will be sold on the European market as UHT milk, cream, condensed milk and flavoured milk from 2022 and exported to China, the Middle East and Africa.
SIG will produce 15 aseptic filling machines for the new plant, which will be located in Mechernich. SIG's flexible filling technology will enable Hochwald to offer a wide variety of aseptic packaging solutions. in five different pack formats with different volumes, closures and straw solutions.
