AstroNova, provider of data visualisation technologies, is launching the Multi 800, a versatile digital printer for professional packaging and paper bag production. It will be unveiled at ICE Europe in Munich.
The digital printer is suitable for industries such as food and beverages, healthcare, logistics and e-commerce and enables the flexible direct-to-package printing on different materials.
The Multi 800 offers Industry 4.0-capable technology and environmentally friendly water-based printing making it a good choice for companies that value sustainability and customisation. Its versatility supports a wide range of applications, including corrugated board, die-cut boxes and wooden packaging, food packaging, cardboard, paper and jute shopping bags, bottles, paper cups and padded envelopes, thin paper bags and bubble mailers. Variable data printing is also possible for personalised or high-volume applications.
Equipped with an advanced automatic suction cup feeder, the Multi 800 ensures a Precise printing on objects of different sizes and thicknesses, from small paper bags to larger, voluminous formats. It prints at a speed of up to 27 m/min and a resolution of up to 1200 dpi.
AstroNova, together with its recently acquired subsidiary MTEX NS, will be presenting its sustainable printing technologies at ICE Europe 2025 in Munich from 11 to 13 March.
