ULMA Packaging is part of the Spanish ULMA Group and designs and produces packaging machines, particularly for the food and chemical/pharmaceutical industries. The division is presenting the FR 400 flow-wrapping machine as a machine solution for sustainable packaging.
It uses recycled monomaterials or paper as packaging material (photo). It is mainly designed for bakery, confectionery and pastry applications and is particularly suitable for packaging biscuits and snack bars Sustainable and resource-saving. The machine can also be integrated into medium and high-speed packaging systems. In addition to solutions for paper and recycled mono material, the focus is also on machines that support thinner films such as BDF (Barrier Density Film).
The TFS series offers a good introduction to automated packaging in the food and medical sectors: The machine types TFS 200 S and TFS 600 are both hygiene-specified thermoforming systems for flexible and rigid film with vacuum and skin technology. The TFS 600 packaging line is equipped with an automated robot and a centrifugal conveyor for loading sausages.
In addition, a number of tray sealers, such as the TSA 1000, will be presented together with an automatic product loading station and an end-of-line solution comprising a case packer and palletiser.
