The year 2019 ends with a great success: Minebea Intec successfully beat off the competition in the Readers’ Choice Awards organised by the international online platform „Automation Inside“ in December: A total of eight awards went to the global provider of industrial weighing and inspection technologies. It was not only the manufacturer's proven products that impressed.
The annual Readers’ Choice Awards from the online platform „Automation Inside“ is an established competition in which readers vote for the best automation companies and products in a total of 18 categories. After coming third in last year's „Best Automation Company“ poll, Minebea Intec was finally able to secure the hotly contested top spot this year.
However, it was not only the company itself, but also the products that impressed the readers. In addition to the established weighing and inspection solutions, the winners also included some of the manufacturer's new products:
Launched onto the market at the beginning of the year, the Essentus checkweigher thus secured the title of „Best Packaging Systems“. With this award, the product proves that the company's focus on putting the customer's needs first was also recognised by the voters.

„The feedback from customers at our trade fair appearances worldwide has already been positive. The new product was particularly well received at Fachpack in Germany and PPMA in England. In the new year, we now want to build on the awards and score points with further new products. We will be able to offer a number of innovations, particularly in the area of industrial scales, but also in foreign object detection,“ reports Willy-Sebastian Metzger, Strategy and Marketing Manager at Minebea Intec, who sees good chances for the awards in 2020.
„The numerous awards confirm our Sustainable development work for the automation industry. Our goal for next year? To maintain the high level of success,“ says Metzger sportingly.
