Award for sustainable technology

Kiefel GmbH received an award for its sustainable technology in the natural fibre sector. In the „Sustainability“ category, the development performance of the Naturformer KFT 90 was recognised.

Kiefel GmbH's technologies in the natural fibre sector have been recognised by the automation group ABB. In the "Sustainability" category, the development performance of the Naturformer KFT 90 won the international European Value Provider Award.

Products made of natural fibres can be moulded on the KFT 90. This packaging can be used in certain fields of application. Alternative to conventional plastic packaging be. One result was the Expansion of material processing expertise from polymers to natural fibres and the introduction of the associated new machine technology for fibre thermoforming within two years.

Kiefel is also involved in various Initiatives to improve the recyclability of plasticshow HolyGrail or PrintCYC. In addition, Kiefel participates in the independent international sustainability certification of EcoVadis and continuously optimises activities relating to products, technologies and companies.
