With the SuperTrak flexible transport system, B&R is making a major contribution to Packaging 4.0. Thanks to unprecedented flexibility and networking, manufacturers of consumer goods can optimise their overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and total cost of ownership (TCO) with Packaging 4.0.
SuperTrak is the new generation of a robust, user-friendly and intelligent Transport technology on the basis of Long stator linear motors. Unlike previous systems, SuperTrak offers industrial reliability and ease of maintenance. Shuttles that move independently of each other enable the mass production of customised products. At the same time, downtimes and set-up times are minimised.

B&R will also show how the open standards Powerlink, OMAC PackML and OPC UA can be used to provide the necessary Networking is implemented for the Industrial IoT.
