SIG's Terra RecShield D bag-in-box packaging has been recognised by the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) for its recyclability. SIG has thus reached a new milestone in sustainable packaging for post-mix beverage concentrates.
SIG has launched Terra RecShield D bag-in-box packaging, an innovation that has been recognised by the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) for its recyclability. The packaging fulfils the highest criteria of the APR Design® Guide and has been confirmed following independent tests.
The three-layer laminate is specially designed for post-mix beverage concentrates and is characterised by its high durability and recyclability, which, according to SIG, is made possible by innovative compatibilisation technologies. With this development, SIG aims to further reduce both packaging and food waste and make a contribution to the circular economy.
