Ball & Doggett has reached an agreement in principle to acquire Impak Films. The supplier of flexible packaging is to be integrated into the group of companies on 31 October 2025.
The transaction is a strategic step for Ball & Doggett to strengthen its commitment to the packaging market. Impak Films was founded in 2005 by Andy Newman and Brian Christy and will continue to operate independently from its Australian site in Tullamarine.
„We are delighted to welcome Impak Films to the Ball & Doggett Group, strengthening our position and commitment to the packaging sector,“ said Luke Wilkinson, CEO of Ball & Doggett.
Impak Films also sees the takeover as an opportunity. Managing Director Newman emphasised: „This is the next step in the development of Impak Films. Ball & Doggett have the resources, the people and the infrastructure to take the business forward, which will ultimately benefit our customers, suppliers and employees.“
Integration and outlook
According to the company, Impak Films will continue to operate independently, while the integration should create synergies in sales, infrastructure and market access. Both sides expect a successful collaboration and further growth in the packaging sector.
