
At K 2022, BASF will be showcasing sustainable solutions for the automotive, construction and packaging industries. The company is placing a special focus on achieving a sustainable and circular economy through cooperation with others. Valeras from the plastics additives portfolio will be on show for the first time.

BASF has committed itself to reducing CO2-emissions by 25 per cent by 2030 and achieve net-zero CO2-emissions. Another focus is on digital and data-driven value creation models that support customers on their way to a CO2-neutral future. In this area, the company has developed an industry-leading digital application for calculating CO2-emissions from around 45,000 BASF sales products.

For the first time VALERAS will be presented from its plastics additives portfolio. The VALERAS portfolio enhances the value of plastic applications by adding technical solutions and services in the field of additives Sustainability benefits offers. This includes solutions that accelerate the transition of plastics towards a circular economy and net zero emissions. The company will also showcase the latest addition to the VALERAS portfolio: Product Carbon Footprints (PCF), which will be available for various antioxidants and light stabilisers as a premium service.
