Bausch+Ströbel, speciality machine manufacturer based in Ilshofen, is positioning itself for the future: Markus Ströbel, son of company co-founder Rolf Ströbel, has been Managing Director since 2001 and Thorsten Bullinger has now succeeded his father Siegfried Bullinger as Managing Director.
Thorsten Bullinger, a lawyer, has been with the company for many years in various roles, most recently as Head of Legal, Administration and Finance. He is also Managing Director of Gmpi in Ilshofen, another mechanical engineering company in the packaging technology sector.
Looking to the future with confidence
"50 years of innovation - and we still have a lot to do“ is the motto of our anniversary year. And of course, this means that in our anniversary year 2017, we are not only looking back with pride at what we have achieved, but are also actively working on the future of the company,“ said the two founding partners of the company, Siegfried Bullinger and Rolf Ströbel, in Ilshofen. „For me, it is important that we continue to be a family-run company I am therefore pleased that my son will now be actively involved in managing the company for our family,“ adds Siegfried Bullinger.
He himself was only in his early 20s when he co-founded Bausch+Ströbel. In the decades that followed, he was above all the technical head of the company, and many developments are due to him and his great commitment. He also left his mark on the company through his personality - to which he naturally remains connected as a shareholder - as is already the case with Rolf Ströbel.
In 2013, Dr Hagen Gehringer was appointed as Managing Director, who does not come from the family lineage. In view of the company's rapid growth, there are now plans to add further members to the management team in the near future and to spread the upcoming tasks over several shoulders. With the involvement of the recently installed advisory board, a Sustainable concept for the future developed.
