ESF 60100 ensures correctly labelled vials

The new ESF 60100 labeller from Bausch & Ströbel is equipped with numerous control stations that ensure that an incorrectly printed label is not applied to the bottle or vial in the first place.

Bausch+Ströbel is presenting the newly developed ESF 60100 labelling machine at Fachpack in Nuremberg. It is equipped with numerous control stations that ensure that an incorrectly printed label is not applied to the bottle or vial in the first place.

Not only do incorrectly filled and incorrectly sealed vials have to be discarded in the production process, but often an incorrectly printed label This is one reason why a vial that has been filled correctly can no longer be used. If the information on the label is incorrect or out of date, this can have serious consequences.

An avoidable mistake: The ESF 60100, the new generation labelling machine for bottles and vials, is equipped with numerous control stations - so that an incorrectly printed label is not applied to the bottle or vial in the first place.

For small vials and large bottles

In addition to high process reliability, the ESF 60100 from Bausch + Ströbel a high performance - over 20,000 objects per hour. It is also characterised by its great flexibility. Firstly, in terms of the processing range: it can label everything from small 2R vials to large litre bottles.

Secondly, in the area of printing systems: The modular label dispenser can be used to two different printing systems set up in parallel to enable labelling on different label materials without the need for conversion. Printing and labelling on top of the FlipCap is also possible. There are several printing systems to choose from: Hot stamping batch printers, thermal transfer printers or laser labelling - but it is also possible to integrate a customised printer.

The label dispenser guarantees gentle and precise labelling. It also has an intermediate drive. Tension on the label tape, which can occur at high speeds, is avoided, ensuring perfect printing results at all times. Conversion to other object and label sizes is quick and easy, just like with the other format parts on the machine.

Right at the start, the system checks the vials for cap colour and fill level so that only correctly filled and capped vials actually enter the labelling process. Before the label is applied, numerous control stations ensure that each label is actually printed with the correct batch number, coding, etc. - and of course at full speed. Incorrect labels are removed and unlabelled vials are ejected. These then do not have to be discarded - like incorrectly labelled objects - but can be brought back into the labelling process become.

The ESF60100 is also equipped with the Label splicer ESE9752 can be combined. This guarantees labelling without downtime thanks to the automated splicing process from used to new label tape. The empty backing tape is rewound to save space.
