A different kind of federal election campaign: BEMBEL-WITH-CARE® has launched a poster campaign under the slogan „The better choice“, which uses its cider cans to pick up on the political colours of the parties and symbolically calls on people to choose their favourite variety.
The election posters for „The better choice“ are placed in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main. They are in the different colours of the cider cans and each show a flavour variant in large format. The flavours up for election are „The Blacks“, „The Greens“, „The Reds“ and „The Whites“. Cider fans are invited to take pictures of themselves and the posters and post them on the BEMBEL-WITH-CARE® facebook page. The campaign will be publicised there in the form of a Competition extended, and there are „Care packages“, containing all four types of „canned fruit“ cider will be raffled off.
Last year, the canned cider was honoured for its „eye-catching fusion of tradition and innovation in material and design“, according to the jury, with the German Packaging Award in the Design & Finishing category and was also honoured with the Red Dot Design Award 2016 honoured.
Benedikt Kuhn, founder and owner of BEMBEL-WITH-CARE®, comments: „The current election campaign lacks vigour and the parties“ programmes are barely distinguishable from one another. Our choice is the better one. Because this is about clearly differentiated content, entirely to the taste of the citizens. Whether black, red, green or white - with us, people can be sure they are not voting for bottles."
To accompany the poster campaign, Berlin scene photographer Fabz Black realised a photo shoot with local alternative models. The intentionally „trashy“ visual language is intended to emphasise the strong character of the BEMBEL-WITH-CARE® brand and its preference for unconventional concepts. The expressive photos will be published on the company's facebook page in the coming days.
