With the acquisition of the Italian company Cosmei, Berlin Packaging is expanding its presence in the cosmetics segment and tapping into new potential for design and innovation.
Berlin Packaging, the world's largest hybrid packaging supplier, has acquired Cosmei, a company based in Bagnolo Cremasco that specialises in cosmetics packaging. Cosmei is known for creative, design-orientated solutions in the indie, prestige and masstige segments and works closely with brands from the beauty industry.
According to Berlin Packaging, the acquisition is intended to expand the existing portfolio with customised developments and strengthen its position in the global cosmetics market. Cosmei also operates a sourcing office in China, which complements the international supply chain.
The acquisition is part of Berlin Packaging's long-term investment strategy in the beauty sector. The company intends to further expand its role as a preferred partner for innovative, sustainable packaging solutions.
