With the acquisition of Rixius AG, Berlin Packaging is strengthening its presence in Germany and expanding its range of industrial packaging.
Berlin Packaging has finalised the acquisition of Rixius AG, a Germany-based Supplier of glass and plastic packaging, closures and accessories, completed. Rixius offers its packaging solutions for various sectors, including cosmetics, food supplements, food & catering, pharmaceuticals and technology & industry.
Rixius was founded in 1879 and has developed from a traditional packaging wholesaler into a Full-service supply partner with a comprehensive range The company has developed a range of packaging solutions and also offers a range of services such as advice, individual packaging and packaging design (e.g. printing, labelling).
„We have finalised the acquisition of Rixius and further strengthened our position in EMEA,“ says Marcel Schröder, Senior Vice President of Region North, Berlin Packaging EMEA. Wolfgang Luckhardt, CEO of Rixius, adds: „Rixius has grown steadily in recent years and now we are writing a new chapter.
