The European business of Berry Global Group, Inc. has made a significant multi-million euro investment in its Steinfeld, Germany plant. The aim of this investment is to increase production capacity for the patented NorDiVent Form-Fill-Seal (FFS) polyethylene (PE) bags.

The investment made includes both the Renovation of an existing production hall as well as the installation of state-of-the-art processing machines. With this expansion Berry Global significantly increase production capacity in Steinfeld to ensure faster response times and a consistently high quality of its NorDiVent film.

NorDiVent FFS packaging offers a Durable, dust- and moisture-free solution for the filling and packaging of powdered products, such as cement, dry mixes, chemicals or foodstuffs. The robust film construction ensures that air can escape dust-free while providing effective protection against moisture. In contrast to conventional paper packaging, NorDiVent bags can therefore also be used for stored outdoors. They also offer high tear resistance, which increases product protection and reduces the risk of leakage or spillage in the supply chain.
