An optimised hygienic machine design that reflects the current requirements and needs of the market, is just as important as the associated consulting services.
KHS offers two fillers for the can segment, the Innofill Can DVD for the high-performance range and the Innofill Can C, designed for small to medium filling quantities. „The Innofill Can C is characterised by Fast format changes and changeover times out. This increases the availability and cost-effectiveness of the system,“ says Härtel, describing the advantages of the filler.
In view of the increasing diversity of beverage variants, the development of the Special attention to hygienic machine design and protection against flavour transfer placed. The Innofill Can C can be optionally equipped with a HEPA filter, which removes potential germs from the air inside the machine. On request, there is also the option of hot filling to prevent the formation of condensation.
Cooperation to be intensified
Hygiene also takes centre stage at Ferrum. In both the ferruBasic series and the FC series, which is compatible with the Innofill Can C from KHS, emphasis is placed on the hygienic design of all components. „When developing our cappers, we have focussed deliberately opted for an open design without housing. This means that the components are easy to clean and the machine is easily accessible for operators,“ explains Jörn Winkelmann, process engineer and hygiene expert at Ferrum.

In future, the two companies will intensify their collaboration even further. „Our machines are already very well harmonised. We want to offer our customers even more integrated solutions“, explains Zubler. Härtel agrees and adds that this also applies to comprehensive consulting and services, where the company will act more as a unit in future.
