Focus on sustainability

The introduction has had a considerable impact on the company's carbon footprint. With the system from KHS, Vilsa saves around 50 tonnes of plastic which corresponds to a distance of 2,000 kilometres of shrink film correspond.

„The new packaging solution allows us to reduce our CO₂ emissions depending on the bottle size by 40 to 70 per cent. Specifically, we save on the 1-litre Nix pack 62.5 per cent CO₂ emissions a. The changeover is a logical development of our sustainability strategy.“

Henning Rodekohr, Managing Partner of Vilsa-Brunnen

Convenience and recyclability

In addition to the ecological advantages, the Vilsa Nix-Pack also impresses with its user-friendliness. The 100 per cent recyclable cardboard carriers is robust enough to be 1.5 litre six-pack to transport safely. Handling instructions are printed on the carrier. The adhesive dots are resistant to environmental influences and do not impair the recycling process.

Retailers are provided with a specially designed Information film to the changeover. The Vilsa Nix packs will be introduced across the board from May 2025, according to the information provided.
