The optimised B+K U-Pack gusseted bag with split handle wins the German Packaging Award 2021 in the Logistics & Material Flow category.
With this gusseted bag, which has already won several awards, film and packaging manufacturer Bischof + Klein offers a versatile problem solver for logistics and product protection. The patented packaging for dry products is naturally recyclable and contributes to a sustainable circular economy.
Optimising the handle creates additional cost benefits in filling, palletising, logistics and storage. It also reduces CO2 emissions by reducing the freight volume. Another plus: the carrying handle can be printed all over. The print image is retained despite the handle slit.
The B+K U-Pack is available in various container sizes and configurations. It can be filled cleanly on conventional systems both through the base and through the top. Freshness and shelf life of the contents are preserved thanks to the reclosure. On request, it can currently be produced with a PCR content of up to 43 per cent for market segments without food conformity.
