Bluhm Systems: Print modules with RFID option

Labelling provider Bluhm Systeme is expanding its portfolio with two print modules from ZEBRA. The all-metal ZE511 (4 inch) and ZE521 (6 inch) designs are optimised in terms of colour, speed, maintenance, handling and data intelligence for 24/7 operation in demanding packaging environments. Depending on the application, they achieve a print speed of up to 18ips and a print resolution of up to 600dpi. Both print modules can be expanded with RFID technology in just a few simple steps.

Hardware and software are developed for continuous operation. The external housing does not have a ventilation system in order to prevent the ingress of foreign bodies and liquids. A high-performance software connection simplifies Bluhm Systems networking, setup, protection, management and maintenance - locally or remotely. The Integrated analysis function proactively ensures trouble-free maximum performance around the clock.

Potential risks and indications of activities are pointed out in real time. Administration and processes can be monitored and faults rectified remotely. Updates are installed according to a customised schedule. Both print modules can be expanded to include RFID technology in just a few simple steps. The additional RE40 module can encode, print and apply 4- and 6-inch RFID labels.
