The Bluhm Weber Group, a specialist in coding and marking technology headquartered in Rheinbreitbach, has taken over the Belgian company Noviq, based in Gingelom, via Weber Marking Systems SA in Belgium as of 1 January 2020. At the same time, a business division specialising in coding was created for Weber Marking Systems SA and Weber Marking Systems BV in the Netherlands.

As Noviq is already known in the market as a coding specialist, the new division is called Noviq Coding. In Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, we are now taking over Gerrie Vanwelde as Division Manager and David Sterken as Business Development Manager for the entire sales organisation. In the Netherlands, he also supports Arjen De Haas the two as account manager.

Last year, with an effective date of 1 November, there was another takeover: Weber Marking Systems France S.A.S. acquired the Sato's pressure dispensing systems division in France. Sato France will continue to focus on the well-known label printers and logistics solutions. With this acquisition, Weber Marking Systems France is further expanding its print dispensing systems division.
