BOBST celebrates its anniversary: 2017 marks 75 years since BOBST began developing and manufacturing folder-gluers for the packaging industry.

One of the first machines, a PCR382, was installed at Zeiler near Bern (Switzerland) in 1942. This company, which today enjoys great success under the name Limmatdruck Zeiler as part of the RLC Packaging Group, a leading folding carton manufacturer in Europe, is still a BOBST customer.

Success through innovation

What began in 1942 has developed into a real success story. Thanks to their consistently high box quality and outstanding performance, BOBST folder-gluers have established themselves as the benchmark for manufacturers of folding boxes and corrugated cardboard packaging.
