What does the future of brands look like in the current challenges? Thomas Reiner, Berndt + Partner Group, compared brands and start-ups at interpack and talked about how different types of companies can operate in dynamic and disruptive times. 

Mr Reiner deals with the topics that are currently driving (not only) the packaging and branded goods industries: Climate change, challenging sustainability targets, project portfolios full to the brim and digital transformation. The Covid-19 pandemic has recently accelerated these changes. The political framework is coming to a head, along with supply chain volatility and staff shortages. The transformation process is not only shaping industrial activity, but also social structures as well as people's expectations and behaviour. It is important to recognise the opportunities and risks and actively shape change.
