BrauBeviale 2020 will only take place digitally

BrauBeviale is taking place this year. And it will stay that way. However, while a physical trade fair - albeit a slimmed-down one - was previously planned, it is now clear that the programme will be completely digital.

BrauBeviale is taking place this year. And it will stay that way. However, while a physical trade fair - albeit a slimmed-down one - was previously planned, it is now clear that the programme will be completely digital.

With BrauBeviale 2020 Special Edition, NürnbergMesse has long honoured the express wish of the beverage industry to finally meet and exchange ideas in person again. Numerous intensive discussions with exhibitors, partners and visitors have led to this decision. Safety and hygiene protection concepts were developed in consultation with the relevant authorities to ensure a smooth and safe trade fair experience for everyone.

But now things have changed. After extensive discussions and critical observation of the current situation, NürnbergMesse has decided, in close consultation with customers and partners, to cancel the physical exhibition of the BrauBeviale 2020 Special Edition as planned and to move the programme exclusively to the digital world. The reason for this is the current national and global developments in the coronavirus pandemic, the rapidly rising number of infections and the associated massive restrictions on business travel in companies.

Until the very end, the BrauBeviale Special Edition received a lot of encouragement and support from the industry, according to the organisers.

„We had staying power and would have had it until November - for our exhibitors, visitors and partners. Unfortunately, the industry will now also be deprived of the last opportunity for a physical meeting this year. However, despite all our commitment, we must of course not close our eyes to current developments. We owe this to our customers and partners. We were well prepared, but we have to be realistic about the current situation. In this respect, we are now continuing to work at full speed on our online offering and look forward to uniting the beverage industry virtually on our digital dialogue platform myBeviale.com from November.“

The beverage industry meets digitally

Come together, share knowledge, take away ideas: This is what exhibitors and visitors expect from BrauBeviale. To strengthen dialogue in the beverage industry, the digital dialogue platform will be launched at the beginning of November myBeviale.com . A more comprehensive supporting programme than ever before has already been planned for the physical event. BrauBeviale@stage with six themed stages can now be experienced exclusively online.
