BST eltromat International, the manufacturer of quality assurance systems for web-processing production processes, and the Italian specialist for surface inspection systems SeeOne Vision Technology srl signed a partnership agreement at K 2019.
BST eltromat Italia, a 1001TP3 subsidiary of the BST Group, has been working with SeeOne for years on special surface inspection requirements. The partnership agreement has now resulted from this good cooperation.

SeeOne, which is based in Florence, has been developing and producing Surface inspection systems for different industries. The product portfolio covers various applications in rewinders, slitters, doctor blade machines, blown film extruders, calenders, milling machines as well as coating and application machines. The main product Linescan is Versatile in use - thanks to the modular concept. Its cameras and light sources can be flexibly adapted depending on the location and scenario.
SeeOne's systems recognise different materials such as Foils, metallised foils, paper or cardboard various defects, including holes or inclusions from insects and dirt. They therefore complement the BST eltromat product portfolio.

The findings from surface inspection with SeeOne systems can be used to optimise production processes in various ways. At K, BST eltromat presented the Linescan surface inspection system to demonstrate the benefits of this additional quality assurance component to its film extrusion customers.
