On 1 May, Dr Markus Arendt took up his position as a member of the Management Board of Dr Hönle AG. He succeeds Dr Franz Richter, who had been delegated to the Management Board by the Supervisory Board for one year to manage the business on an interim basis. Franz Richter is now returning to the Supervisory Board as Chairman.
Dr Markus Arendt has many years of experience at international industrial companies. Most recently he was the industrial engineer with a doctorate as Managing Director of the German subsidiary of MKS Instruments, Inc., a supplier to the semiconductor industry. Prior to this, he had worked for SUSS MicroTec SE for 15 years, including as Head of the Lithography business unit and as Managing Director of SUSS Photonic Systems Inc. in Corona, USA.
