The Pöppelmann Group has announced a change in its management team. Since 1 June, Christian Schwarck has been the new Commercial Managing Director of the plastics processor from Lohn, with responsibility for Finance, Human Resources and IT.
As a member of the Management Board, Schwarck will lead the company together with Norbert Nobbe (Managing Director Quality Management, Development and Technology since 2008) and Matthias Lesch (Managing Director Marketing, Sales and Innovation since 2019).
Business graduate Christian Schwarck (50) has more than 20 years of international professional experience at various companies in the building materials industry, raw materials extraction, mechanical engineering and the financial sector. Most recently, he was Chief Financial Officer at Sievert SE in Osnabrück.
In his new position in Lohne, he succeeds the previous Commercial Managing Director Henk Gövert. Henk Gövert joined the Management Board of the plastics processor from Lohne in 2019. He has also been responsible for Supply Chain Management (SCM) since 2022. After five successful years, Henk Gövert left the company at his own request at the beginning of 2025 to take on new challenges.
