Christian Oetker-Kast elected new spokesman for the FFI board

The board of the Fachverband Faltschachtel-Industrie e.V. (FFI) has elected Christian Oetker-Kast as its new spokesperson. Oetker-Kast succeeds Andreas Helbig, Managing Director of Seda Germany GmbH, who held the position for six years.

Christian Oetker-Kast is the managing partner of Casimir Kast Verpackung und Display GmbH in Gernsbach, a company that can look back on an impressive 475-year history. After completing a technical apprenticeship and a degree in business administration, he gained international experience, before he took over the management of the family business in 2002. He has also been a member of the FFI Board and Advisory Board since 2016. Under his leadership, the family business has continuously invested in modern production facilities and established itself as an innovative provider of packaging solutions, according to the association.

As the new spokesman for the FFI board, Christian Oetker-Kast will concentrate more on further improving the image of the folding carton industry and, as part of this, will focus on the topics of training and recruiting skilled labour. These areas are an important economic factor for the industry and play a central role in the future viability of the folding carton industry.

Andreas Helbig will continue to support the FFI and, in his new role as Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, will devote more time to representing the political interests of the folding carton industry and representing the interests of the FFI.
