On 12 and 13 March 2025, the Circular Valley Convention (CVC) will take place for the first time at Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf. The event brings together decision-makers from business, science and politics to promote practical solutions for the circular economy.
The Circular Valley Convention 2025 brings together all dimensions of the circular economy under the motto „Uniting Industries for a Circular Tomorrow“. The aim is to impart knowledge, drive innovation and develop concrete solutions for a sustainable transformation. In addition to specialist presentations, the convention offers an expo with over 100 exhibitors and extensive networking opportunities.
Patronage by Minister President Hendrik Wüst
Hendrik Wüst, Minister President of North Rhine-Westphalia, is the patron of the event. This emphasises the importance of the event for the promotion of a sustainable economy and active climate protection. The organiser is Messe Düsseldorf in cooperation with the Circular Valley Foundation, accompanied by the Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT.
Innovative concept and top-class programme
The event combines conference, exhibition and networking. Highlights include presentations by Prof Dr Holger Hanselka (Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft) and Katja Busch (DHL Group), who will shed light on bridging the gap between science and practice. In total, over 200 experts will share their knowledge on topics such as circular construction, sustainable packaging and digital solutions.
Global perspectives for a sustainable future
With 2,500 expected participants and international best practices, the convention offers a platform to develop solutions for global challenges such as resource scarcity. The event aims to create cross-industry synergies and showcase innovative technologies.
