Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG's cloud-based customer portal is increasingly becoming the digital control centre for end-to-end production in print shops. Over 3,000 print companies worldwide are already using the platform to digitalise and automate processes and make them more efficient. The portfolio has now been expanded.

The portal's app world now comprises over 15 specialised applications, including the Maintenance Manager, the Inventory Management App and Print Shop Analytics. These solutions are designed to increase efficiency and transparency in maintenance, materials management and production, by providing digital assistance, automated processes and real-time data. The aim is to avoid downtime, reduce storage costs and improve overall system effectiveness and sustainability. In future, it should also be possible to purchase consumables and spare parts with just two clicks.

New to the portfolio is the „Data Capture App“. It enables end-to-end recording and real-time analysis of production data, transfers planning and order data to the workstations, supports job and status tracking and provides operating data for reporting and post-calculation. The application is designed to for more transparency and optimised production control provide.

Heidelberg is thus positioning itself as a provider of an integrated platform that includes production and workflow apps, real-time analyses, maintenance, consumables purchasing and management tools. in a cloud-based portal.
