Software cooperation facilitates the creation of virtual twins

The software company „Solidpro“ has added the physics-based 3D simulation solution „industrialPhysics“ from „machineering GmbH & Co. KG“ into its portfolio. This makes it easier to create and simulate digital twins of complete mechatronic systems with the products sold by Solidpro.

The software company „Solidpro“ has added the physics-based 3D simulation solution „industrialPhysics“ from „machineering GmbH & Co. KG“ into its portfolio. This makes it easier to create and simulate digital twins of complete mechatronic systems with the products sold by Solidpro.

The simulation software is used to plan logistics systems, among other things. Their co-operation gave Solidpro, which belongs to the Bechtle Group, and the company „machine engineering“ at the beginning of December.

„With the ‚industrialPhysics‘ simulation software, we are adding an exciting product to our portfolio. Thanks to the deep integration of ‚Solidworks‘ into the simulation and the simultaneous connection of different control systems, our customers can realise a Virtual commissioning quickly and easily,“ said Solidpro's Managing Director Werner Meiser in addition.

The „industrialPhysics“ software is a software that Physics-based 3D simulation software with real-time capability. It is used to mechatronic systems and robots and to test PLC programming virtually.

Display

There is a bidirectional Interface to CAD tools such as the Solidpro product „Solidworks“. This interface allows the simulation models to be changed directly.

A robot library is also integrated, as is the option of connecting real controllers. Thanks to the Virtual commissioning significantly reduces the commissioning time for mechatronic systems and makes them safer because any problems can be recognised at an early stage.
