With the main theme „Automation Evolution - The New Era of Industrial Production“, Coesia is presenting a wide range of intelligent packaging and automation solutions at IPACK-IMA in Milan. The focus is on sustainability, flexibility and digitalisation.
From 27 to 30 May 2025, the Coesia Group will be presenting its latest technologies for packaging and industrial automation at IPACK-IMA (Hall 7, Stand A46-B45) in Milan. Companies such as ACMA, Atlantic Zeiser, Citus Kalix, FlexLink, Norden and Volpak as well as partner companies ERRELLE and PWR will be there. Together, they will be demonstrating how productivity can be increased, operating costs reduced and processes future-proofed - with a clear focus on sustainability and digital transformation.
CEO Alessandro Parimbelli explained in the run-up to the trade fair: „At Coesia, we are driving a new era of industrial manufacturing in which automation not only supports, but also drives innovation. Our solutions help to reduce manual tasks and rethink value creation.“

A particular highlight is the FP EDGE with PAPER KIT from ACMA - a horizontal form-fill-seal system that can process paper contents of up to 95 %. The system achieves speeds of up to 150 metres per minute and combines ergonomic roll handling, pneumatic web control and optional laser coding. According to Coesia, it offers a sustainable alternative to plastic film - without compromising on product protection.
Atlantic Zeiser presents CodeVault, a secure software solution for serialisation and coding management. It fulfils current GS1 and 2D code requirements and enables more efficient implementation of new labelling obligations - especially for companies in the pharmaceutical and consumer goods industries.
For the cosmetics sector, Citus Kalix is presenting the KX803 - an automatic tube filling machine for pharmaceutical and personal care products. With an output of up to 80 tubes per minute, tool-free cleaning access and quick changeover, it is particularly suitable for controlled production environments with changing requirements.

FlexLink presents a new condition monitoring system in combination with the X85 Compact Spiral Conveyor. The solution collects condition data in real time and thus enables predictive maintenance. Thanks to its compact design (less than 1 m² footprint), the spiral conveyor is also suitable for space-critical environments. The system is complemented by digital tools such as the FlexLink DesignTool and the intuitive QuickGuide component.

Norden will be highlighting its solutions for secondary packaging of tubes - including the NC100 cartoning machine and the NTP170 case packer, which enable fast format changeovers and compact line integration. Case Erector and Case Sealer also complement the portfolio for pharmaceutical end-of-line applications.
Volpak presents the SM+ platform for the production of pouches using the premade or reel-fed process. It has a modular design and allows quick format changes. Special attention is paid to the new „inverted pouch“ format, which is characterised by clean emptying and improved product discharge - ideal for modern consumer requirements.
Coesia partner PWR presents the Smartline - a compact pick-and-place solution for the food industry. The robot solution is scalable, can be integrated quickly and reduces both implementation time and operating costs thanks to standardised processes.
